Periodically I will type a search term into my photo library to see what comes up. It always shows me any picture of text where that word appears, of course, or if I’ve used that word as the title for the photo. Occasionally the reason that an image appears is less obvious. Once when I searched on “heart,” one of the pictures that came up was of my husband kissing my grandson, then a toddler. The library got that one right!
This week I put in the term “Hope,” triggered by Michelle Obama’s speech at the DNC. In addition to the boat photo above, the picture of this field was in the group.
I thought it would be fun to post this on Facebook and ask people why they thought that this should appear when I searched on that term. The answers were so lovely that I put many of them into this poem.
Hope
Putting faith and hope in the process of growing,
no expectations, just a feeling or belief.
The road to the future, will take me places.
New surprises in Mother Nature,
the return of a season and greenery,
life will happen.
The Town of New Hope,
field of Dreams.
Why did this photo appear? It was taken in the town of New Hope, Wisconsin.
