Name: Rockin’® Fuchsia Salvia hybrid ‘BBSAL00301’ USPP 30,923, Can 6,296
Type of Plant: A hybrid Salvia that is great in containers or planted in mass in the ground.
Why I Love this Plant: I love the color of Rockin’® Fuchsia, and the fact that the bumble bees are constantly working these plants. I love how free-flowering this Saliva is, and the spiky growth habit that works well with so many other annuals.
A Word to the Wise: Clip off the spent branches as they finish flowering. This will improve the look of the plant and hasten new blooms.

All morning the bumble bees are stuffing themselves in these Rockin Fuchsia flowers.

Rockin Fuchsia mixes well with other annuals. Here, I’ve used it with Totally Tempted™ Vivid Violet™ cuphea Cuphea procumbens – a new Cuphea that will be in garden centers in 2025. (Put it on your watch-for list – it’s a keeper!)

The spiky flowers of the salvia are a good contrast with round flowers such as petunias.
