Tomorrow, September 28th, my gardens will be open for the benefit of the Barnstable Education Foundation. It’s a chance for me to share what we’ve created one last time before fall, an opportunity to fund a few more innovative programs for kids that aren’t covered by tax dollars, and a chance for those who come to learn about great plants, garden combinations and creative flowerbeds.
I’m leading tours at 11, 12, 1, 2, and 3 PM, rain or shine, and I’ll share with you the inside story of what worked and what was a failure this summer. Bring an umbrella in case it sprinkles, and come prepared to laugh. We’ll provide water and coffee no matter what the weather is, so it will be a good time. Address and cost here. See you soon!

Come see what I planted in containers this year. Yes, this pot contains Blonde Ambition!

Find out which veggies are still producing in late-September and onward. Discover why I love to walk out my front door and ask, “What’s for dinner?”

See the Fragrance/Bird garden in its fall glory. Learn what I do with the peony plants in this garden every fall.
