Name: Rosa Oso Easy Peasy®
Type of Plant: A shrub rose that’s highly disease resistant and covered with bright pink flowers.
Why I Love this Plant: I love how easy this rose is, and the fact that it grows between 2 and 4 feet tall….so a good size for many gardens or even containers.
I love the multitude of flowers, and the fact that it keeps producing more flowers as the summer continues. And I love the mounded shape of the plant.
A Word to the Wise: Like other roses, this one wants full sun and some fertilizer. It also grows best if you cut it down by half in the early spring, just as the red buds begin to form. Although you don’t have to deadhead this shrub to keep it flowering, it doesn’t hurt to cut faded, browned flower clusters off to improve the immediate look of the plant.
